POB Trust Eye Hospital Karachi, a project of the Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA), is dedicated to bringing the gift of sight to those in need. Since 2015, POB Eye Hospital Karachi has grown from a basic eye care facility to a tertiary eye care centre, setting new standards for charitable hospitals in Pakistan. Beyond our flagship Karachi hospital, we are also expanding this great cause in Lahore and Peshawar. Our Mission is to eradicate preventable blindness and improve the lives of visually impaired individuals, regardless of their background. We have successfully operated 196,000 cataract surgeries within and outside Pakistan, additionally, we organise free cataract eye surgery camps in remote areas of Pakistan to assist the needy.
